Ecosystem will be Playable at EGX Rezzed in London Next Week
Hi Everyone,
Sorry it has been so long since the last update! I’ve been making great progress on development but fell behind when it came time to post what I’ve done. My apologies for that. I’ll have a extra-large post soon with lots of detail on the game’s progress over the past several months.
This is a shorter update but I wanted to quickly mention that I’ll have a playable prototype of Ecosystem at EGX Rezzed in London next week, from April 4-6. If you will be there too, feel free to say hi; I’m happy to answer questions about the game or hear your ideas about where it could go. Look for this poster:
Thanks!
Tom

Thank you! Your post really made my day. Developing can be a lot of work and takes a lot of time, and it’s encouraging to know there are some people who are genuinely interested. 🙂
Ecosystem isn’t available to download yet, but I’m working towards it. It may be a year before its ready but it is possible I will have a beta test before that and I would be happy to include you in that when the time comes. I appreciate you reaching out

thanks for the reply I wish you the best of luck
I have been learning to program and most people don’t think about the time it takes to make a reliable piece of code and straight away judge it off the graphics and quality its hard for people to understand the time it takes and from others comments im glad you have made it this far cause this is the first time ive ever seen a piece of software that puts you in a place of developing an entire world of life plus the fact you can physically interact and change the organisms ive never seen in most software programs

this has so many uses it could be used in education for biology of life science in middle school to teach evolution or just simple fun its just something so new and I never have seen yes spore has custom creatures but that’s only your tribe and you don’t fully effect the way the place is run its so beautiful just to see a custom ecosystem and watch nature take place in a computer simulation something unique in its own way but blows Minecraft, spore and most sandbox software’s out of the world im so excited its something so unique ive never seen and it has so much use for learning

Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it! The show went really well; I was actually quite nervous going in because I had never done one before. I hope to have an update with a lot of new information about the game soon.
